Investment Director – Remote, Full‑Time

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. This high‑autonomy, research‑intensive position works closely with senior leadership to enhance analytical capabilities and optimise portfolio operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence: source, screen and evaluate opportunities across strategies and geographies, analysing performance, risk metrics and team capabilities.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with managers to monitor strategy evolution, performance attribution and organisational stability.
• Coordinate the due‑diligence lifecycle: collaborate with internal teams, maintain trackers, ensure timely updates and synthesize findings into comprehensive memoranda.
• Conduct macro research and market analysis: monitor macroeconomic data, central‑bank policy and geopolitical developments, develop scenario analyses and provide actionable insights.
• Produce periodic briefs and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication and project‑coordination abilities.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Bloomberg terminal expertise.
