Investment Director – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process for a Dubai‑based single family office. The role is fully remote and offers high autonomy, allowing you to shape investment strategy across hedge funds, liquid alternatives and systematic strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence on investment opportunities, screening and evaluating managers across strategies and geographies.
• Analyze performance, risk metrics, investment processes and team capabilities, maintaining ongoing dialogue with managers.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, track progress and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macroeconomic and market research, monitor central‑bank policy and geopolitical events, and develop scenario analyses to inform portfolio positioning.
• Distill actionable insights into periodic briefs for the investment division.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex instruments.
• Strong written communication and project‑management abilities in multi‑stakeholder environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Experience with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Additional programming knowledge such as R or SQL (preferred).
