IT Project Manager – Digital Transformation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a growing project management function within a well‑established insurance organisation undergoing a major digital transformation. You will work closely with business users, technical teams, vendors and senior stakeholders to deliver a range of IT and digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end IT and digital projects, defining scope, timelines, deliverables and resources.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across business and technical functions.
• Gather requirements, align projects with business objectives and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Oversee vendors, third‑party providers and implementation partners.
• Identify risks and blockers early, driving resolutions and ensuring smooth delivery.
• Support and improve project governance, documentation, workflows and delivery processes.
• Track progress using tools such as Jira, MS Project or similar and report status to leadership.
• Help introduce and mature project‑management best practices across the organisation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience managing IT, technology or digital projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across technical and non‑technical teams.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience in regulated or service‑led environments (insurance, banking, telecom, MSPs) is a plus.
• PMP or similar certification is advantageous.
