Legal Specialist

About the role

Alzayani Investments is looking for a meticulous Legal Specialist to join its team in Manama, Bahrain. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with local regulations and mitigating corporate risk.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the legal department with case proceedings, preparation and service of legal documents, and enforcement procedures.
• Handle legal transactions before government authorities such as the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Land Registration Bureau, Traffic Directorate, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Notaries, Ministry of Health, and others.
• Maintain and renew company commercial registrations (CRs) to avoid violations.
• Draft, review and translate agreements, NDAs, MOUs, resolutions, powers of attorney and other corporate documents.
• Conduct legal research, gather evidence for trials, and prepare legal opinions and studies.
• Organise and manage the legal library and case files, providing concise summaries of case status and outcomes.
• Follow up major court cases with police stations, prosecution offices and relevant ministries.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Director or Legal Affairs Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a corporate legal department or reputable law firm, preferably with exposure to diverse industries.
• In‑depth knowledge of Bahraini corporate and commercial law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
