Machine Learning Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists. The role focuses on defining and executing our AI strategy, delivering production‑ready models, and aligning technical initiatives with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a remote team of ML engineers, data scientists and AI professionals.
• Define the organization’s machine learning roadmap and oversee its execution.
• Design, develop, validate, deploy and monitor ML models across domains such as deep learning, NLP, computer vision and recommendation systems.
• Implement MLOps pipelines and manage the full model lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, data and business teams to deliver AI‑powered solutions.
• Establish best practices for model experimentation, governance, and responsible AI compliance.
• Monitor model performance, scalability and reliability in production environments.
• Manage project priorities, resources, budgets and delivery timelines.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering or data science.
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing ML or AI teams.
• Proven ability to lead globally distributed, fully remote teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with modern machine learning frameworks.
• Hands‑on expertise in MLOps and production model deployment.
