Machine Operator – Food Production

About the role

Early Riser is seeking a full‑time Machine Operator to join its production team in Hidd. You will be responsible for running the equipment that creates the company’s handcrafted granolas and nut butters, ensuring each batch meets the brand’s high standards for taste and nutrition.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor manufacturing machinery for granola and nut‑butter production.
• Measure, load and dispense raw ingredients according to recipes.
• Adjust machine settings and parameters to maintain product quality.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished goods.
• Carry out routine cleaning, basic maintenance and minor adjustments using hand tools.
• Follow safety, hygiene and standard operating procedures throughout each shift.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably in food or packaging.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Strong attention to detail, good hand‑eye coordination and a solution‑oriented attitude.
• Effective communication skills to report issues and coordinate with supervisors.
• Commitment to punctuality and teamwork.
