Manager - Accounting & Tax

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Manager – Accounting & Tax to lead our accounting and tax functions in Bahrain Bay. The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring full regulatory compliance, and delivering accurate financial and tax reports in line with IFRS and local VAT requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire accounting and tax operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain compliance with Bahrain VAT/NBR regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IAS standards.
• Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain management information systems (MIS) and financial reporting dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and tax, including audit exposure.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS and Bahrain VAT regulations.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Ability to work with data analysis and visualization tools like PowerBi.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and MIS.
