Mechanical Technician – Maintenance

About the role

Fives Services Gulf is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join its Bahrain team. You will be responsible for servicing, corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery, ensuring continuous operational readiness in line with SOPs, HSEQ and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure timely completion.
• Administer, configure, calibrate, maintain, program and qualify assigned equipment and machinery.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on SPL equipment and related machinery according to contractual and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process errors, applying established techniques and procedures.
• Provide on‑site support to customers, guaranteeing compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor equipment performance to minimise both planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Collect, record, analyse and summarise data, preparing detailed work reports.

Required profile

• Ability to follow SOPs, HSEQ guidelines and industry regulations.
• Strong focus on safety and technical integrity of mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to work on‑site and support customers as needed.
