Mechanical Technician – Maintenance & Service

About the role

Fives Services Gulf is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join its Bahrain team. You will be responsible for keeping industrial equipment and machinery running smoothly through servicing, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule in line with company policies, customer specifications and industry standards.
• Perform administration, configuration, calibration, maintenance, programming and qualification of assigned equipment and machinery.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on PTMs and related equipment according to contractual and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process errors, propose solutions and ensure technical integrity of all mechanical assets.
• Provide on‑site support to customers, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.
• Monitor equipment performance to minimise both planned and unplanned downtime.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Ability to follow SOPs, HSEQ guidelines and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical skills for data collection, reporting and performance monitoring.
