Merchandising Supervisor

About the role

Amalfi Foods is seeking an energetic and highly organized Merchandising Supervisor to lead in‑store merchandising operations across Bahrain and the GCC. The role ensures strong product visibility, shelf execution, freshness standards, and brand presence in all retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of merchandisers across multiple retail outlets.
• Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and maintained according to company standards.
• Monitor product availability, stock rotation, and FIFO implementation.
• Oversee correct execution of pricing labels, promotional materials, and displays.
• Coordinate product launches, promotional setups, and in‑store visibility activities.
• Conduct regular market visits and retail audits to assess execution quality.
• Collaborate with sales, trade marketing, and distribution teams to improve retail execution.
• Track product expiry, damages, and returns, reporting findings as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with store supervisors and retail staff.
• Prepare merchandising reports, market feedback, and competitor observations.
• Train and guide merchandisers to uphold high execution standards.

Required profile

• Experience in merchandising, retail execution, or FMCG operations.
• Strong understanding of supermarket and retail environments.
• Highly organized, practical, and detail‑oriented.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Energetic with capacity to manage multiple locations daily.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced FMCG setting.
• GCC FMCG experience is an advantage.
• Valid driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for reporting and operational tracking.
