Nominated Postholder – Crew Training for Bahrain AOC

About the role

Beond is establishing a Bahrain Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and needs a senior professional to lead crew training. The Nominated Postholder will develop, certify and oversee flight and cabin crew training programmes, ensuring full compliance with Bahrain regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safe and secure operations in line with Bahrain ANTR and BCAA regulations.
• Plan and coordinate initial, conversion and recurrent training on a rolling six‑month strategy with the Manager Flight Crew Training.
• Keep comprehensive records of all training activities and individual crew training histories.
• Manage the content of Operations Manual Part D and update it with any revisions.
• Perform or delegate line checks and verify that candidates meet prerequisite standards.
• Ensure instructor competence through spot‑checks, standardisation briefings and annual standardisation checks.
• Develop training plans to meet fleet crew requirements in coordination with the Accountable Manager.
• Implement and maintain the department Safety Management System (SMS) under the Safety Manager.

Required profile

• Current Type Rating Instructor (TRI) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) on a type/class operated under the AOC.
• Thorough knowledge of the AOC holder’s crew‑training concept for flight, cabin and other crew.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in the aeronautical industry in a comparable role.
• Comprehensive understanding of Bahrain ANTR, BCAA requirements and the AOC holder’s operational and compliance systems.
• Must be acceptable to BCAA following formal assessment.
