Nurse Manager

About the role

Amana Healthcare is launching its first facility in Bahrain and seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to lead nursing services in a long‑term care and post‑acute rehabilitation hospital. The role combines clinical leadership, staff supervision, and quality improvement to ensure safe, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations across all wards, ensuring evidence‑based care and monitoring patient outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support services to maintain continuity of care.
• Lead, mentor, and schedule nursing staff, conduct performance appraisals, and identify training needs.
• Ensure compliance with NHRA standards, hospital policies, and Bahrain labor laws; participate in audits and accreditation.
• Develop and update nursing policies, SOPs, and clinical guidelines; support quality improvement projects.
• Assist with budgeting, resource planning, and cost control; prepare reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
• Valid NHRA nursing license or eligibility to obtain one.
• 8–10 years of nursing experience, preferably in long‑term or acute care settings.
• Proven leadership and staff management experience.
