Nutritionist Intern

About the role

Calo is seeking a Nutritionist Intern to join its Nutrition and Customer Experience teams for a three‑month period. The intern will support new customers during their first month, offering nutrition guidance, monitoring progress, and helping resolve any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition consultations and outbound follow‑up calls with customers.
• Assess goals, medical history, dietary intake, lifestyle factors, and overall progress.
• Advise on plan suitability, calorie intake, portion sizes, meal selection, and weight tracking.
• Provide evidence‑based nutrition education and practical recommendations.
• Identify and document issues affecting customer progress and recommend adjustments.
• Support the Customer Experience team by answering nutrition‑related inquiries.
• Help develop and improve FAQs, guides, and internal resources for the CX team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related science.
• Valid NHRA license or in the process of obtaining one.
• Bahraini national, fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
