About the role
The Outlet Cashier supports the financial operations of The Ritz‑Carlton in Manama, ensuring accurate cash handling, record‑keeping and compliance with company policies. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of guest service and financial integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and post financial figures, ensuring mathematical accuracy and correct coding.
- Organize, secure and maintain cash, petty‑cash, and related documents in accordance with SOPs.
- Perform period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
- Audit cashier banks regularly and reconcile cash variances.
- Act as liaison with the armored‑car service and primary banking institution, supporting internal and external audits.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of relevant cash handling or accounting experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 10 lb without assistance.
