Plant Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Sika AG is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead its manufacturing facility in Manama, Bahrain. You will be responsible for driving safety, efficiency, and performance across all plant functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations, including EHS, production, maintenance, warehouse and logistics.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Oversee production planning, inventory management and collaboration with supply‑chain teams.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement data‑driven continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, capital projects and cost‑reduction programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of managing plant operations and delivering performance improvements.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
