Pre‑Sales Consultant IAM – Benelux & Nordics

About the role

Thales is looking for a Pre‑Sales Consultant specialized in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to support its Benelux and Nordics markets. You will work closely with regional sales teams, translating customer requirements into concrete solutions using Thales’ CSP IAM portfolio. The role focuses on Dutch‑ and English‑speaking territories and involves regular travel across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Benelux and Nordics sales teams to design and present IAM solutions.
• Provide pre‑sales assistance on cloud‑based authentication, access management and customer identity management technologies.
• Prepare and author technical documents such as RFIs, RFPs, and solution briefs.
• Deliver presentations to C‑level executives and technical audiences, handling objections and questions.
• Support value‑added distributors and resellers in solution positioning.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Proven experience with Identity Protection, Authentication, Access Management, Single Sign‑On, Identity Federation or CIAM solutions.
• Strong presentation skills for both management and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to author product‑focused technical documentation.
• Understanding of cryptographic concepts (PKI, digital signatures, certificates, OpenID Connect, SAML, FIDO, SmartCard management).
