Production Engineer – Manufacturing & Fabrication

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities in its Askar workshop. You will work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure high‑quality metal joinery and interior fittings are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production operations alongside supervisors, managing 50‑60 fabrication and welding staff.
• Monitor and adjust daily production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Supervise a dedicated team of 20 fabrication and welding professionals.
• Produce hand‑sketches for bespoke metal fabrication details.
• Maintain efficiency of sheet‑metal machines and enforce 5S workplace standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with PPE requirements and overall worker discipline.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet‑metal fabrication and interior metal work.
• Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal machinery and processes, including laser cutting, press brake, rolling, MIG/TIG welding, and related fabrication tools.
• Proven ability to manage large production teams in a workshop environment.
