Production Engineer – Sheet Metal Fabrication

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead its sheet‑metal fabrication workshop in Askar, Bahrain. You will work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure efficient production of bespoke metal interiors for fit‑out projects across the Gulf region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day production activities in the workshop, managing 50‑60 fabrication and welding professionals.
• Monitor and adjust daily production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Supervise a dedicated team of 20 fabricators and welders, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Produce hand‑sketched details for custom metal fabrication projects.
• Oversee the operation and efficiency of sheet‑metal machinery, including laser cutters, press brakes, rolling machines, and MIG/TIG welding equipment.
• Maintain 5S principles and enforce PPE compliance throughout the workshop.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the sheet‑metal fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal processes such as laser cutting, press braking, rolling, and MIG/TIG welding.
• Proven experience in metal interior fabrication for fit‑out projects.

Required skills

• Hand‑sketching for bespoke metal detailing.
• Basic proficiency with Autodesk software.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP system.
• Operation of laser cutting, press brake, rolling, MIG welding, and TIG welding equipment.
• Use of general fabrication tools and sheet‑metal machines.
