About the role
Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead day‑to‑day production activities in its Askar workshop. You will work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure efficient fabrication of bespoke metal interiors for the Middle East market.
Key responsibilities
- Lead daily production work, managing 50‑60 fabrication and welding professionals.
- Supervise a dedicated team of 20 fabricators and welders, monitoring schedules and output.
- Maintain efficiency of sheet‑metal machines and enforce 5S workplace standards.
- Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and overall discipline on the shop floor.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the sheet‑metal fabrication industry.
- Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal machinery and processes, including laser cutting, press brake, rolling, MIG/TIG welding, and related tools.
- Proven ability to oversee production under senior engineering supervision.
Required skills
- Hand‑sketching for bespoke metal fabrication detailing.
- Basic proficiency with Autodesk software.
- Familiarity with Epicor ERP system.
