Production Manager – Quarry, Asphalt & Aggregates

About the role

The Production Manager oversees all aspects of material production across the Nass Asphalt portfolio, including quarry operations, asphalt plant output, aggregate supply and recycling activities. The role ensures uninterrupted material flow, maximises plant utilisation and coordinates closely with project, maintenance, quality, HSE and commercial teams to meet project schedules and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of quarry, asphalt, crushing, screening and recycling facilities.
• Plan and monitor production targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Control production costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Allocate manpower and equipment optimally across all production units.
• Prepare regular performance reports, KPIs and profit‑and‑loss statements for the department.

Required profile

• Preferred degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or Minerals Management Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the GCC.
• Strong communication, analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with local labour laws, safety, quality and maintenance management.

• Compensation split: approx. 40% office & facilities, 50% site, 10% head office (flexible).
• Normal working conditions with a 6‑day work week (Saturday to Thursday).
