Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

About the role

Amalfi Foods, a fast‑growing industrial bakery and confectionery manufacturer in Bahrain, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on its automated lines. The role focuses on meeting production targets while ensuring product quality, food safety, and efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production across assigned lines, monitor output, line efficiency, downtime and material utilization.
• Lead and motivate operators, allocate tasks, manage attendance, and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and company food‑safety procedures, reporting any deviations.
• Identify and implement improvements to boost productivity, reduce waste and minimise unplanned equipment stoppages.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the Maintenance team and verify machine readiness before shifts.
• Prepare daily production reports, track KPIs and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of production experience in industrial bakery/FMCG, with at least 2 years supervising teams.
• Experience with automated and semi‑automated manufacturing lines and familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP knowledge.
• FSSC 22000 food‑safety standards.
• Lean manufacturing, 5S and OEE monitoring.
• ERP operation (Odoo) and production planning.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and coordinate maintenance.
