Project Manager – Architectural Steel, Facades & Fabric Membrane

About the role

Gulf Shade is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of architectural steel, façade, fabric membrane and tensile structure projects in Bahrain. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning through handover.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Review drawings, technical specifications, method statements and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, ensure compliance with quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Control project costs, variations and reporting.
• Attend client meetings and provide regular updates.
• Oversee procurement and site activity coordination.
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• 12‑15 years of construction project management experience.
• Proven experience with architectural steel, structural steel, façade, fabric membrane and tensile structure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, planning and site execution.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in the GCC region preferred.
