Project Planner – Manufacturing & Construction

About the role

The Planner will support the planning and scheduling of joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring that timelines are realistic and deadlines are met. Working closely with Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics and external clients, the role guarantees smooth project flow from inception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed project timelines and schedules, identifying critical path activities and potential bottlenecks.
• Create baseline schedules, dashboards and tracking reports to monitor progress.
• Act as a liaison between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external parties, facilitating clear communication.
• Support material and resource management by coordinating with the Material Engineer and Procurement team, tracking orders and escalating delivery issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management review and help resolve coordination issues with the production team.
• Contribute to process improvements by providing operational support and suggesting procedural innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling or operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out environments.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and understand proper project sequencing.

Required skills

• Experience with Primavera P6 (preferred).
• Experience with MS Project (preferred).
• Knowledge of baseline scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM) and dashboard creation.
