QA/QC Manager

About the role

The QA/QC Manager acts as the Management Representative for Nass Contracting, leading the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) across all sites. The role ensures compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and safety‑environment‑health‑quality (SHEQ) procedures while reporting performance and improvement opportunities to top management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update and supervise SHEQ procedures and related documentation for all Nass entities.
• Control, distribute and archive SHEQ documents, ensuring version control.
• Conduct internal and external audits on behalf of senior management.
• Verify contractor quality requirements and review vendor submissions.
• Participate in pre‑bid meetings, client quality management meetings and coordinate project requirements with bidders.
• Develop and manage project quality system documentation before commencement.
• Review qualifications and training needs of inspection personnel.
• Monitor, resolve and report non‑conformance reports and customer complaints.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with site teams and use statistical quality control methods for reporting.
• Maintain and update AS‑BUILT marked‑up drawings, targeting at least 80% alignment with site progress.
• Implement pre‑job briefings based on approved method statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
• 15–20 years of construction industry experience, including GCC exposure.
• Eligibility for CRPEP Grade A registration.
• Proven ability to organise, coordinate and analyse statistical data, budgeting and reporting.
