Quality Controller – Manufacturing & Shop‑Fitting

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Quality Controller to oversee and improve quality standards across its manufacturing and shop‑fitting operations in Bahrain. You will develop and implement quality systems, conduct audits, and ensure that all products meet predefined specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Implement quality systems throughout the workplace and monitor compliance.
• Identify potential quality lapses and introduce preventive measures.
• Establish testing criteria and standards in collaboration with the Production department head.
• Define, manage, and allocate testing resources to meet quality targets.
• Conduct daily floor audits and assess product quality against standards.
• Investigate quality incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and update quality plans and procedures.
• Report audit results and program status to management regularly.
• Verify that procured materials meet required specifications.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, and setting‑out teams to sustain quality at each stage.
• Monitor product timelines to ensure timely testing.
• Supervise the quality control team.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in a shop‑fitting or joinery manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality Management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing procedures and common shop‑fitting materials (timber, boards, laminates, metal, hardware, acrylics).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multinational setting.
