Registered Nurse – Inpatient Care

About the role

The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals admitted to the hospital’s inpatient unit. This role ensures safe clinical practice, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, vital‑signs monitoring, and patient hygiene.
• Maintain infection‑control standards and follow IPC guidelines.
• Document all nursing interventions in the EMR and report significant changes to physicians promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, dietitians, and other professionals during multidisciplinary rounds.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, procedures, and health maintenance.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, audits, and mandatory training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid nursing license/registration from the national regulatory authority (NHRA or equivalent).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory); ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of inpatient/acute‑care nursing experience.
