Revenue Management Director

About the role

The Revenue Management Director is responsible for balancing financial objectives across lodging products to maximize total revenue and profit for guest rooms. This role oversees pricing, positioning, and inventory for all hotels within the assigned area and develops sales strategies for transient, wholesale, and group segments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze revenue data, identify trends, and generate reports on transient booking patterns and STAR information.
• Develop and recommend pricing strategies, rate restrictions, and inventory controls to capture market share and improve RevPAR.
• Communicate sales strategy and pricing to hotel General Managers, sales leaders, franchisees, and owners.
• Maintain accurate reservation system data and monitor distribution channels for positioning and competitor information.
• Provide input for market sales strategy, support property diagnostics, and ensure revenue tests are implemented.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Hotel Management or related field with 1 year of revenue management or sales experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with no experience required.
• Strong analytical skills to identify problems, propose solutions, and generate timely reports.
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
