Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will serve customers across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for Emerson’s Fisher Flow Controls Business Unit. The role combines technical expertise in control valves with sales responsibilities, requiring frequent customer visits and remote work flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed annual business goals and sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers at all levels within assigned accounts.
• Position Flow Controls as the preferred supplier by acting as a trusted advisor and delivering tailored solutions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account and site plans covering all Flow Controls business units.
• Prepare growth plans, forecasts, pricing surveys and competitor intelligence.
• Collaborate with other Emerson divisions to maximize pull‑through opportunities.
• Negotiate and update long‑term agreements for services, turn‑arounds and parts.
• Ensure compliance with Emerson ethics, trade and health‑safety policies.
• Track key performance indicators on quotes and support order closing.

Required skills

• Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience with control valves.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in the power and water sectors.
