Secondary Food & Technology Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a passionate Secondary Food & Technology Teacher to deliver the British National Curriculum to senior pupils in Bahrain. The successful candidate will join a supportive expatriate community and help nurture a positive, nurturing learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Food & Technology lessons in line with the British curriculum and Bahrain Ministry requirements.
• Integrate Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies elements where appropriate.
• Mentor newly qualified and early‑career teachers, supporting their professional development.
• Contribute to the school’s house system and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress to parents and colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at secondary level.
• Experience with the British curriculum preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
