Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our hospitality and restaurant operations in Seef, Bahrain. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, and support the finance team in delivering timely reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Record and review transactions using the Odoo ERP system.
• Perform regular bank, cash and other account reconciliations.
• Handle month‑end closing and prepare accurate financial statements for management.
• Monitor revenues, expenses, cash collections and daily financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required information.
• Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies while maintaining internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP.
