Senior Accountant

About the role

Contech is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant for its team in Manama, Bahrain. The role covers accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, audit support, regulatory compliance and supervising junior accounting staff when required. The salary package is BHD 800-1,000 per month, and Bahrain experience is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations and prepare financial reports
• Handle budgeting, bank and account reconciliations, and monitor cash flow
• Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance
• Supervise junior accounting staff when required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA or equivalent preferred
• 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
• Bahrain work experience preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Bank reconciliation, financial reporting and general ledger
• Analytical, organisational and communication skills
