Senior Associate – Accounting & Tax

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Associate to join our Accounting & Tax Department in Bahrain Bay. The role involves delivering high‑quality accounting, tax and compliance services to a portfolio of clients while supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/IAS.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes and ensure deadlines are met.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and other financial data.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Handle VAT return filing and submission to the NBR.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, audit or tax.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CA (completed or in advanced stages) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Odoo accounting software.
