Senior Executive Director - Private Equity

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Executive Director to lead private equity investments from Bahrain. The role is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing deals across the GCC and selected international markets, working closely with senior leadership and the broader alternatives franchise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead origination, thesis development and pipeline management across target sectors and geographies.
• Execute end‑to‑end transactions including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, structuring and SPA negotiations.
• Prepare investment‑committee‑standard materials, present and defend investment cases.
• Take post‑close ownership through board roles, performance monitoring, value‑creation oversight and exit execution.
• Support fundraising initiatives, LP co‑invest processes and coach junior investment professionals.

Required profile

• 12–18 years of experience primarily in direct private equity investing, with formative training in investment banking (M&A, leveraged finance) or transactions advisory.
• Strong deal sheet with independently sourced and led transactions, preferably co‑invest or co‑sponsor deals.
• Deep GCC/MENA market knowledge and established relationships with regional advisors, banks and asset owners.
• Expert‑level financial modelling and LBO skills, with investment‑committee‑ready analytical standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline; CFA and/or MBA from a top‑tier institution preferred.
