Senior Odoo Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Odoo Developer to join our IT team and lead the design, development, customization, and implementation of Odoo ERP solutions that align with our business processes. The role will focus on building robust Odoo modules, ensuring system reliability, performance, and integrating AI-driven analytics to support digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new Odoo modules and enhance existing ones using Python, XML, JavaScript, and QWEB.
• Customize views, forms, menus, reports, dashboards, and workflows to meet business requirements.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, perform gap analysis, and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, optimize SQL queries, handle migrations, and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain server environments, deployment pipelines, and version control using Git.
• Configure core Odoo modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory, HR, CRM, Manufacturing) and deploy them in cloud or containerized environments.
• Integrate AI/ML models to enable predictive inventory forecasting, automated lead scoring, and smart workflow recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on Odoo development experience.
• Proven track record of module development, ERP implementation, and customization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Odoo ERP (Enterprise & Community) framework, ORM, and APIs.
• Advanced Python programming.
• XML/QWEB templating and JavaScript.
• SQL and PostgreSQL (queries, migrations, optimization).
• Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Linux server administration.
• Docker containerization.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, DigitalOcean (plus).
• RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, microservices integration.
• AI and Machine Learning concepts for ERP enhancements.
