Senior Planning Engineer – Primavera Specialist

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead the development and control of project schedules using Primavera P6 across heavy‑industrial EPC projects. The role supports the Project Manager and client in delivering on‑time, on‑budget construction while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Primavera schedules, including resource allocation, cash‑flow, and material take‑offs from IFC drawings.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and HR teams to secure required resources.
• Monitor progress against the baseline, identify slippage, and create recovery action plans.
• Prepare cost, planning, and document control reports in line with the Project Control Manual.
• Conduct CPI analysis, generate progress curves, and provide monthly forecasts.
• Review contractor site progress, issue delay notices, and produce weekly/monthly planning reports.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• 7‑10 years of relevant experience, preferably on heavy‑industrial EPC projects.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality and client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to join within 30 days and willingness to work across Bahrain and GCC locations.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (resource loading, leveling, forecasting).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
