Shop Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Shop Manager to lead our retail outlet in Manama. The role involves overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and assign staff, monitor work results and ensure operational efficiency.
• Recruit, select, orient and train store employees.
• Approve contracts, maintain inventories and ensure merchandise availability.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for employees and customers.
• Review operating and financial statements to adjust marketing strategies.
• Implement purchasing plans, manage vendor relationships and control stock levels.
• Analyze sales data, forecast future sales and adjust inventory accordingly.
• Handle staffing matters including interviews, appraisals, performance reviews and training.
• Respond to customer complaints and feedback.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Analytical mindset for reviewing sales figures and financial reports.
