Social Media Coordinator and Content Creator

About the role

AUBH is looking for a Coordinator of Social Media and Content Creator to manage its social media accounts and create engaging content that showcases the university, student life, academic programs and campus activities. The role covers content planning, photography, video production and keeping up with social media trends to strengthen the university's online presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AUBH's social media accounts and develop a monthly content calendar
• Generate creative content ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories and other platforms
• Capture high-quality photographs and videos of students, campus life and university events
• Edit short-form videos and produce engaging social media content
• Create and publish Instagram Stories and provide live coverage of events and activities
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement
• Coordinate with the Marketing team to align content with campaigns and university priorities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Professional certification in a related field is desirable
• Portfolio showcasing photography, video editing or social media content is an advantage
• Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic and English
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, and to work independently and in teams

Required skills

• Strong photography skills (a must)
• Shooting and editing short-form videos with tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends
• Creative, proactive and organized, with strong communication skills
