Solutions Architect – Customer‑Facing Web Portal (Contract)

About the role

Toga EMEA is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to act as the design authority for a customer‑facing web portal that integrates with a live Oracle 19c system. The assignment is on‑site in Bahrain for up to 68 days over 26 weeks, with the most intensive work in the first seven weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Define the technical specification and integration design, covering architecture, hosting, database, scalability and business continuity.
• Design and own the adapter layer to the core Oracle system using REST, SOAP, webhooks and SFTP.
• Implement role‑based access control for multiple organisations sharing the portal.
• Specify non‑functional requirements such as 99.9% availability, page load under three seconds, and future expansion capacity.
• Integrate single sign‑on with the client’s existing identity solution and create an audit trail for all changes.
• Review the implementation work and act as the design authority without writing code.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years in an architect role.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken, and confidence to defend designs to clients.

Required skills

• ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC architecture.
• Oracle 19c data modelling and PL/SQL.
• REST API design using OpenAPI 3.0.
• Load‑balanced IIS and high‑availability design on Windows Server.
• Security architecture including TLS 1.2+, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML.

What we offer

• USD 463 per day, invoiced monthly and paid 15 days after client payment.
