Product Manager

About the role

Monerti is hiring a commercially minded Product Manager in Manama, Bahrain, reporting directly to the founder and working closely with business development, engineering, design, marketing and operations. The role sits between customers, the market and the engineering team: spending real time with clients, property owners, real estate companies and users, turning their needs into clear product decisions. It is not a back-office or project coordination role.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients, property owners, real estate companies and end users regularly, and join business development meetings and sales calls
• Track competitors in Bahrain and the wider region and turn insights into clear product direction
• Define what to build, own the product roadmap and set priorities with the founder; shape pricing, packaging and positioning
• Translate needs into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and work daily with engineers on trade-offs and unblocking decisions
• Own the backlog, run sprint planning and reviews, work with designers on flows and screens, and test features before release
• Plan launches with marketing and business development, define and track metrics such as activation, retention, conversion to payment and revenue per customer, and report progress weekly

Required profile

• 4+ years in product management, or in business development or a commercial role working closely with engineering teams on apps or web platforms
• Proven experience taking products or features from market insight to launch, with results
• Strong business sense: pricing, unit economics, customer acquisition and revenue drivers
• Comfortable with clients and senior decision makers, and with technical discussions with engineers
• Fluent Arabic and English, spoken and written
• Solid understanding of the Bahrain market

Required skills

• Hands-on Agile or Scrum and backlog management in Linear, Jira or a similar tool
• Excellent writing of requirements and specs
• Product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase or GA4, and spreadsheets
• Nice to have: Figma, basic SQL, real estate/proptech or consumer app experience, startup experience, RTL interface experience, product management certification
