Spa Receptionist – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring seamless service throughout their visit. Working within a luxury hospitality environment, you will support both operational and guest‑service functions.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and retrieve guest and reservation data using computer databases and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Prepare letters, memos, and other documents with word‑processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date‑stamping and distribution.
• Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems for records and reports.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and respond to guest inquiries.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Uphold company policies, maintain a clean professional appearance, and protect confidential information.
• Perform light physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

• Professional appearance and strong commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and colleagues.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and computer database entry.
