Store Management Assistant / Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Store Management Assistant / Specialist to support store operations across construction projects. The role covers inventory management, material control, procurement coordination, receiving, issuing, storage, reconciliation and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement store management strategies, procedures, standards and inventory controls aligned with project objectives.
• Manage store activities from procurement and ordering through receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, transfers, returns and project close‑out.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Design Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers and Logistics teams.
• Maintain purchase orders, material requisitions, delivery notes, goods‑received notes, stock records and related commercial documentation.
• Oversee store administration procedures for material requests, approvals, receiving, inspection, identification, storage, issuing, transfers and stock counts.
• Monitor supplier and contractor compliance with material specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, quality and packaging requirements.
• Assist in handling material shortages, damaged goods, incorrect deliveries, excess stock, obsolete items and inventory adjustments.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior experience in store or inventory management within construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of material procurement, receipt, storage, issuance and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to work remotely while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
• Excellent attention to detail and compliance with contractual and operational obligations.
