Store Manager - Watsons Bahrain

About the role

The Store Manager at Watsons Bahrain is responsible for planning, controlling and directing the store team to deliver the highest customer service standards and in-store execution, driving sustainable sales and profits. The role covers financial oversight of P&L, store KPIs (UPT, ATV, SOP, audit compliance, shrinkage) and uses strong communication and people skills to influence team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and profit: drive, monitor and review sales performance, run monthly category sales meetings, ensure 100% execution of exclusive product programmes and control operational expenditure budgets
• Commercial: implement display strategies and timely stock replenishment, comply with brand service standards, handle customer queries and complaints, drive loyalty programmes and conversion targets, and cascade promotions and price changes
• Process: enforce policies, brand standards, grooming guidelines and internal controls, supervise loss prevention, asset protection and inventory management, liaise with mall management and perform cashiering duties
• People: plan and monitor personal development plans, oversee team learning, review performance appraisals and act on employee engagement actions

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in retail and team management within the beauty sector
• Management skills focused on people development, with empathy, customer service, leadership and problem-solving

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends
• Retail operational proficiency, including stock management, visual merchandising, systems and cash handling
• Strong analytical skills and system reporting
