Strategy Consultant - AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced strategy consultant to help shape AI training data by turning real consulting engagements into structured learning environments. The position is freelance, fully remote, and focuses on designing project scenarios, tasks and evaluation rubrics for large‑language‑model based grading systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create realistic consulting project environments that reflect industry context, financial data, constraints and ambiguous information.
• Design discrete consulting tasks for AI agents, such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy and operational diagnosis.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics and golden‑answer solutions to train and calibrate LLM‑based evaluators.
• Collaborate with the AI data team to ensure the scenarios are aligned with model training pipelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at a top‑tier firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Familiarity with financial modelling and market analysis concepts.
