Summer Internship – Business Development, Social Media or Video Editing

About the role

The Hook, a creative marketing agency, is offering an 8‑week summer internship starting the first week of July. Interns will join one of three tracks – Business Development, Social Media, or Video Editing – and work onsite in Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Support outreach to potential clients and assist with proposal preparation.
• Conduct market and competitor research and take notes during client calls.
• Publish ready‑made content across social platforms, write captions, and maintain content calendars.
• Track engagement metrics and produce basic performance reports.
• Edit short‑form video clips (Reels, TikToks) using CapCut or similar tools, adding captions, transitions and simple motion graphics.

Required profile

• Currently studying or a recent graduate.
• Based in Bahrain or able to work from the Bahrain office.
• Eager to learn, reliable and a good communicator.
• Portfolio or sample work is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• CapCut (or comparable video‑editing software).
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
• Basic video editing, captioning and motion‑graphics techniques.
• Basic social‑media scheduling and reporting tools.
