Trade Marketing Director

About the role

Al Zain Jewellery, a heritage luxury maison founded in Bahrain, is seeking a senior Trade Marketing Director to shape and execute its global trade marketing strategy. This role bridges brand storytelling with commercial performance, ensuring the Maison’s identity translates into compelling market experiences and measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead a global trade marketing strategy aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
• Develop market‑specific activation plans to drive traffic, conversion, sell‑through and client engagement.
• Partner with retail leadership on boutique openings, renovations and in‑store marketing standards.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to maintain consistent storytelling across all touchpoints.
• Build and manage relationships with international luxury department stores and distributors, providing assets, guidelines and launch support.
• Oversee trade marketing budgets, KPIs, ROI expectations and annual calendars for collections, campaigns and key commercial moments.

Required profile

• Senior luxury professional with deep understanding of trade marketing in high‑end retail environments.
• Proven ability to translate brand narratives into commercial impact.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical mindset and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
• Excellent collaboration skills with retail, visual merchandising and international partnership teams.
