Transformer Technician

About the role

The company is seeking experienced Transformer Technicians to join a reputable team in Bahrain. The role focuses on the maintenance, testing and repair of power transformers and reactors operating at 66 kV and 220 kV voltage levels.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and diagnostics on power transformers and reactors.
• Execute preventive maintenance, calibration and repair activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure high‑voltage safety compliance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct circuit analysis and power system operation tasks.
• Utilize multimeters and other test equipment for accurate measurements.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience with power transformer and reactor maintenance.
• Experience with interconnected transformers (ICT) up to 220 kV.
• Ability to work on-site in Bahrain and adhere to safety standards.
