Visual Merchandiser – M&S Retail (Bahrain)

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser will uphold the M&S brand image across the store, creating an inspirational shopping environment. Reporting to the Regional Visual Merchandiser, you will work closely with store teams to ensure visual consistency and drive customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement all company Visual Merchandising policies accurately.
• Set up easy‑to‑shop store grids and style mannequins according to brand guidelines.
• Apply appropriate styling techniques and visual elements for effective customer segmentation.
• Execute seasonal launches, events, and window displays on time and on brand.
• Monitor best‑selling items, competitor activities, and visual trends.
• Maintain regular communication with store colleagues and the Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure brand consistency.
• Carry out corporate initiatives, marketing projects, and VM checklists.
• Liaise daily with Store Managers for updates on VM processes, requirements, and staffing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Retailing or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on visual merchandising experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Proven ability to achieve visual and business goals.
• Strong business acumen and effective communication with partners at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
