About the role
The Workforce Planning Specialist is responsible for forecasting, allocating and monitoring manpower across multiple projects, divisions and support functions. The role ensures optimal workforce utilization, supports cost control and collaborates closely with project, operations, HR and recruitment teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company‑wide manpower plans and forecasts.
- Monitor manpower needs for projects, divisions and support departments.
- Coordinate allocation, deployment, transfers, mobilization, demobilization and redeployment of staff.
- Track employee assignment dates, project completion dates and contract requirements.
- Identify shortages or surpluses and recommend internal transfers or recruitment.
- Prepare planned vs. actual manpower reports, utilization dashboards and management visualisations.
- Support workforce cost control and optimal resource utilisation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in manpower or workforce planning, preferably in construction or contracting.
- Strong analytical, numerical and reporting abilities.
- Proven ability to manage workforce requirements across multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Power BI (advantageous).
- Workforce planning software.
- ERP/HRIS systems.
