About the role
The Workforce Planning Specialist will plan, forecast and coordinate manpower requirements across multiple projects, divisions and support departments. The role monitors workforce availability, manages deployment, transfers, mobilization and demobilization, and works closely with Projects, Operations, HR and department heads to ensure optimal utilization.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain company‑wide manpower plans and forecasts.
- Monitor manpower needs for projects, divisions and office/support departments.
- Coordinate allocation, deployment, transfers, mobilization, demobilization and redeployment of staff.
- Track available, deployed, on‑leave, idle and under‑utilized workforce.
- Identify shortages or surpluses and recommend internal transfers or recruitment.
- Produce planned vs. actual manpower reports, utilization dashboards and management reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in manpower or workforce planning, preferably in construction or contracting.
- Strong analytical, numerical and reporting abilities.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Power BI (advantageous).
- Experience with ERP/HRIS systems.
- Familiarity with workforce planning software.
