Senior .NET Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of robust software solutions across desktop, service and web platforms. The role involves delivering scalable, secure .NET systems that meet business needs while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET applications including desktop, console, Windows services and ASP.NET solutions.
• Lead the creation and integration of high‑availability REST and WCF APIs and backend services.
• Deploy applications on IIS, perform performance tuning and configure load balancing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications and conduct impact analysis.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis and optimise code and database queries.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server objects such as tables, stored procedures, functions and views, and use PLSQL when required.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and services using TCP/IP and WebSocket communication.
• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship and lead planning and estimation sessions.
• Work with Git and collaborative workflows, coordinate with DevOps for deployments and with QA for testing.
• Monitor systems, report on performance and ensure security best practices are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with .NET (C#) covering desktop, services and web development.
• Strong background in console applications, DLL libraries and service‑oriented architectures.
• Experience with WCF, RESTful services and designing fault‑tolerant, load‑balanced APIs.
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
• Ability to gather business requirements, perform impact analysis and produce clear design documentation.
• Telecom industry experience is a strong plus.
